 After reading the first article, it explained to me what critical analysis actually was.

A critical analysis is not rating something out of 10 nor rating it out of 5 stars, it is more about helping the developer improve on what he or she has done wrong. But a critical analysis is not only pointing out negatives it can also point out the positives of what a developer has done so if you made a game instead of saying what you did wrong or what you can improve on, but they could also say what was fun about the game and why they liked the game and why they would like to play it more if they wish. 

After reading the second article, I understand that different game designers have many different views when it comes to game design. One designer called it Emotion Engineering, another called it Largely Communication and another said "everything that goes into the game is more or less game design". In this paper, the writer states that we the game design changes in a game, the designer may apply new design principles.

After watching the video provided I can tell that game designers are always working so hard when it comes to making games. They are always making prototypes to help improve the game they are making. In the video, they were making paper cutouts of the new ping pong game they were working on and also playing ping pong in different ways where that be against each other, against the wall or even having two pads each. All of this proves that designers are trying to make the best version of the game that they can make.
